It is with deepest sympathy that the staff of the C.M. Brown Funeral Home announces the passing of Mother Willie Lee Davis Allen, 88 passed on Monday, June 19, 2017 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Savannah, GA.

Visitation: Friday, June 23, 2017 at the C.M. Brown Funeral Home Chapel, located at 26 Northside St. in Baxley (5:00 - 7:00 PM).

Funeral Service: Saturday, June 24, 2017 at the St. Matthews the Faithful Church, located at 808 Hundreds Rd. in Baxley, Georgia - 11:00 A.M.

Mother Willie Lee Allen was born in Appling County, Georgia on February 23, 1929 to the late Vinice Lee Davis and Oscar Davis, Sr.

She was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Willie D. Allen. Willie was employed many years as a healthcare worker. She was a faithful member of St. Matthew the Faithful Church, where she served as the church Mother and president of the Hospitality Committee.

On June 19, 2017 God called and Willie answered and was led by His hand into the place in which He prepared for her. God granted her the time to seek, trust and believe there is eternal life if you just believe.

She was preceded in death by her children: Anthony Allen, Keith Allen, Pamela Allen, Phyllis Allen, Gregory Allen, Zelinda Wallace, Jerry Fletcher, and Mitchell Fletcher.

She leaves to cherish her memories ten children: Veronica Williams (Flant) of Baxley, GA, Gwendolyn Allen (Stephen), Patricia Simms (Elliot), Pauline Allen, Barbara Thomas (Carlos), Teresa Allen, Steven Allen (Rosalyn), Michael Allen (Crissy), Charles Allen (Shirley), and Wilbert Reed, all of Philadelphia, PA;

Two sisters: Clara Mae Russell of Baxley, GA and Jenethal Burks of Atlanta, GA; one brother: Benjamin Davis of Baxley, GA; three daughters-in-law: Yvonne Allen, Tawanda Allen, and Margaret Fletcher, all of Philadelphia, PA; one son-in-law: Tyrone Wallace of Philadelphia, PA;

Special friends: Pearl Gallimore and Lucille Dasher, both of Baxley, GA. She also leaves to cherish her memory fifty-one grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
