Jarvis Robin Barnes

Jarvis Robinetta "Robin" Barnes has worked in the funeral industry since birth - affirmed with pictures on the "church fans".  She has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer since 2006.  She is a graduate of Statesboro High and earned her funeral service degree from Ogeechee Technical College in Statesboro, GA.  She also earned a Bachelors of Arts in Accounting from Tuskegee University in Tuskegee, AL.  Robin worked extensively with her dad at James R. Barnes Mortuary in Statesboro until his death and presently works with her mother at C. M. Brown Funeral Home in Baxley, GA and A.L. Spaulding-Barnes Funeral Home in McRae, GA.

Jarvis W. Barnes

Jarvis W. Barnes has worked in the funeral industry for the past 40 years.  Jarvis is a graduate of Gupton Jones College of Funeral Service in Atlanta and a graduate of Georgia Southern College in Statesboro.  She also holds a Masters in Public Administration from Savannah State College, Savannah, GA.  She has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer since 1988.  She is currently the owner of C. M. Brown Funeral Home in Baxley and A. L. Spaulding-Barnes Funeral Home in McRae, GA.  Jarvis taught in the funeral service program at Ogeechee Technical College in Statesboro for ten years before retiring in December 2012.  Jarvis is also the coroner of Telfair County, McRae, GA.

Jarvis is the proud parent of Jarvis Robinetta Barnes of Statesboro, GA and Janice Reynelda Barnes-Blankumsee of Quitman, GA.
