To my family, Bishop Lucious C Rogers Sr was an honorable, well respected , intellectual businessman, truly skillful and highly anointed, full of wisdom man called out byGod to lead not his own family but many sons and daughters into the kingdom of God almighty. Today I salute a trooper, Sergeant, Lieutenant Captain, and most powerful General in the entire Rogers clan. Uncle Lucious followed the instructions of a father the late Rev Hughie Rogers Sr by installing biblical principles into his family, church and community standing on the foundation that was laid before him by daddy Hughie. Uncle Lucious lived and practiced what he was taught by upholding the Rogers name with integrity and continuing the legacy of our hero his father Rev Hughie Rogers. We're going to truly miss the best bishop, pastor, husband, father, grandpa, brother, uncle with all his witty sense of humor that our family had. God bless you and see you in the morning Uncle.
