DeLois Williams Jones Obituary

DeLois Williams Jones, affectionately known as “Doll Baby”, was a loving servant and soldier for the Lord, wife, mother of three, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to many. She was born on October 30, 1958 to the parentage of the late David and Annie Lois Williams. DeLois was united in Holy Matrimony to Jimmy L. Jones and to this union three children were born, Kimberly, James, and Ashley. She was employed by the Georgia Baptist Children’s Home for several years. DeLois was known for her outstanding basketball skills, her passion to teach the youth, and her amazing culinary skills. DeLois loved to sing, cook, coach, read, and be around family and friends. DeLois would go the extra mile for anyone. She was loved by many and mother to some she cherished. She was better known as “Doll Baby” because she was on of the sweetest women a person would ever counter. May the love she showed in action live within our hearts forever. DeLoise was preceded in death by three brothers in-law, two nieces, and two nephews – Elder Edon Cary, Sr., Bobby Ferrel Jones, Wade Eddie Jones, Orma Jean Cray, Angie Cray, Edon La-Zandra Cray, Jr, and John C. Jones.

DeLois’s memory, love, and laughs will be forever cherished by her children, Kimberly Jones, James Jones, and Ashley Jones; six siblings: Troy Williams, Bettie Jean Williams Miller (Ageless) Mobley, Roy Williams, David (Phillis) Williams, special sister, Lucy (Robert) Gallamore, and Theresa Williams; sisters and brothers-in-law: Charles Jones, Joyce (James) Carter, Marie (Larry) Wilson, Reginald (Monica) Jones, Kenneth (Carolyn) Jones, and Allen (Bernadette) Cray; aunts and uncles: special aunt, Velma Lewis, Alice Fraser, Ruby Wellmaker, Annie Williams, Valarie Ryan, Johnny Williams, Arthur (Agnes) Williams, Sam (Brenda) Thomas, Ruby (Julios) Jones, Etha Mae Cray, Evalena Arline, and Christine Lewis; special nephews and special niece: Roy Williams, Jr., Troy Williams, Jr., and Eearlie Pittman. She also leaves to cherish her memory with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
